Cleveland Browns Sign 9-year-Old Dylan Sutcliffe to One-Day Contract Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation [VIDEO]

Tuesday ended up being a very special practice for the Cleveland Browns. No--Johnny Manziel did not finally start living up to his potential. No--Josh McCown did not suddenly become a stud quarterback. No--Josh Gordon is still suspended. The team did add one very important player to the roster with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

They signed nine-year old Daniel Sutcliffe to a one-day contract.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation works to make dreams happen for children with life threatening illnesses. Young Daniel has been diagnosed with ataxia telangiectasia, a rare neurological disorder that causes degeneration in the part of the brain that controls motor movements and speech. His dream--to play football for the Cleveland Browns.

“Dylan is definitely a young man who has all of the ‘Play Like a Brown’ traits, particularly through his passion, toughness and relentlessness.” said Head Coach Mike Pettine. “We look forward to seeing him bring that energy to practice this afternoon.”

Dylan went from his signing to a coaching session with Pettine to prepare for the day where he was introduced to the media and given his own locker.
