T.J. Yeldon Expected to Start at Running Back for the Jacksonville Jaguars

Last season the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up former Minnesota Vikings running back Toby Gerhart hoping that he would be the running back of the future for the team. That didn't quite pan out and while Denard Robinson had a couple good games at running back he ended up getting hurt. So to fill the hole at running back the team drafted T.J. Yeldon out of Alabama.

Rumor has it he has looked good enough in OTAs that he is expected to be the starter on Opening Day.

It's not just writers that are impressed with his work during practice, but he has made an impression on his teammates as well:

“He looks really good in short-area change of direction,” Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny said. “He looks really, really good there. It’s, ‘How does a guy move in space? How athletic is he?’ That’s what stands out. With him, he definitely has it.”

Hopefully he is right. It's been a long time since the Jaguars have been competitive, and it would be nice for the Colts to actually be challenged in the AFC South.
