If Al Davis Were Alive He Would Draft BYU QB Tanner Magnum

When Al Davis was running the show in Oakland there was one thing you knew about his Raiders--they were going to throw the deep ball often. Davis loved the deep ball and preferred to have quarterbacks that were good at throwing it and receivers fast enough to go deep downfield to get it.

After watching the BYU-Boise State game (and the end of last week's BYU-Nebraska game) it is safe to say that Al would be interested in seeing how BYU QB Tanner Mangum developed and possibly drafting him.

That is, as long as he kept throwing the deep ball as well as he has been.

A 35-yard touchdown pass gave the Cougars a late lead and win, 28-24.
