Fellow Owner Advised Jerry Jones To Drink To Handle The Cowboys Losing

Jerry Jones may not be a very good general manager, but he loves his team. Watching it lose over and over the last two months has not been fun. The Cowboys will do well financially whether the team wins or not, but while he likes the money he knows there could be more of it should the team start to win.

It hasn't. To make it more painful the team seems to have a knack for losing in the fourth quarter. They did against the New York Giants a few weeks back when a former Cowboy scored the go ahead points on a late kick return for a touchdown. Afterwards he was given a little advice on how to deal with the team's situation.

So--did he take it? No, “but it was genuine advice. But nothing more serious than that I’ll assure you.”

That was when the team was just 2-4. Now that it is 2-7 has he changed his mind and taken the advice? If he has he, hasn't shared that information with the world yet, and probably never will.
