St. Louis Rams WR Stedman Bailey Shot; Has Head Wound

Reports are circulating online that St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey has been shot in the head and hip while in Miami. Circumstances around the shooting have not been made public at this time, but the head wound has been reported to be non-life threatening.

Bailey was one of the many guys fans hoped would have a breakout year this season. Through eight games he had just 12 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown so he was far from having a breakout season before he received a four-game suspension for violating the league's drug policy.

He was scheduled to return to action in Week 14, but it is now safe to say that he is more than likely done for the season--but that doesn't matter right now.

Since the above Tweet was sent reports have indicated that his injuries are not life-threatening.
