Warren Sapp Talks Dirty on Air

Before you press play be sure and either put some headphones on or make sure that tattletale from HR is nowhere near. NFL Network analysts Warren Sapp is off camera, but forgets that if he leaves his mic on whatever he says gets picked up on the air (doh!).

It's kind of hard to hear the first time you listen to it since he is trying to be quiet, and the on-air talent is talking as well. It sounds like one of those classic rock records that when you play it backwards speaks has a secret message.

This is exactly why sports networks need to hire more actual journalists rather than try to load up on former players that people will recognize. I get why they do it (name recognition=more viewers), but too many of these guys do not know what to do.

That's why they make broad proclamations and try to be dramatic as if the more intense they say something the more believable it must be (right Merrill Hodge? You're not the only one Merrill; just about all the former athletes do it on ESPN with the exception of the older ones). That's why they screw up names of guys they interview or 'just talked' to (Eric Dickerson was horrible at this).

That's why they forget they their mics are on and talk too much.
