Atlanta Braves Fans are More Than Happy with Justin Upton

When the Braves traded for Justin Upton the Diamondbacks fans were not sorry to see him go. He didn't suck (D-backs fans may say differently, but his numbers are okay), but he just wasn't the player they thought he was going to be (I'm assuming).

Like he has been for Atlanta.

Playing with his brother seems to be agreeing with Justin, because since he has joined forces with B.J. in Atlanta he has been an absolute stud. Last season he hit 17 home runs in 150 games and over 500 at-bats. This season, in just 50 at-bats over 13 games he has eight home runs (here is No. 8)!
"I’m getting my work in and trying to put together good at-bats every game and not give away any at-bats,” Upton said. “Early on I’ve been able to go up with a plan and stick to it.”
His hot start along with quality play from other Braves like Chris Johnson and Evan Gattis has Atlanta riding the league's longest winning streak, 10 games.

When you have a player that was not too loved by one team and rocks it like Justin has you are bound to get some great commentary from the fans, namely the ones that think they got a stud and only had to give up a chump (in their eyes). Like this tweet:
This of course has elicited some choice comments from D-Backs fans and understandably so. If you have someone that should do well and doesn't you want him gone. They got a solid player in Martin Prado as it is so as far as they are concerned its nothing lost, but everything gained.

ATL can have Justin. With him doing things like this I am sure they will gladly take him:
