There have been many around the world--not just the sports world-- that have been doing things to show support for the people of Boston and the victims of the bombing during the Boston Marathon Monday. The Chicago Tribune made a nice gesture as did the New York Yankees, and last night the Milwaukee Brewers made their gesture when they played the theme song to the popular sitcom Cheers.
Yeah, I know that the show wasn't actually done in Boston, but it was based on a bar from there. Heck, for a 11 seasons it brought the spirit of Boston into living rooms everywhere so I think it works.
Kudos to you Milwaukee.
