Authorities Have One Suspect from Boston Marathon Bombing in Custody; Second on the Run

After a late night chase in near-by Waterton it is believed that authorities now have one of two suspects in the Boston Marathon Bombing in custody. During the process of the chase one managed to escape, but the other was shot and taken to the hospital.

Officially the authorities have not said that the two suspects they were pursuing in Waterton are the ones they were looking for in connection to the Boston Marathon Bombing. Suspects were described during the chase as having explosives and an assault rifle. The one that escaped was described as the "one with the white hat."
"We are aware of the law enforcement activity in the greater Boston area," Boston FBI spokesman Greg Comcowich said in a statement to Yahoo News. "The situation is ongoing. We are working with local authorities to determine what happened."
So while the official word is essentially 'no comment' it is being widely reported that the cops do have one suspect in custody, but the other escaped.
