Tim Tebow's Old College Girl Gets Pimped Out

I don't think there is a player in any sport in recent history that has done as much with his celebrity as Tim Tebow (good, that is). The quarterback's latest good turn involved his old '95 Ford Thunderbird that he drove in college.



Like most of us, Tebow's college ride had a mind of its own; often starting when it wanted according to Tebow. Hey--when you are in college it isn't all about appearances though. If the sucker can work (most of the time) chances are its better than what most college guys have (i.e. shoes).

Anyway...rather than just ditch his old ride he turned it over to the good people at Richard Petty's garage in Level Cross, NC. After many months of work they created a ride that, well--you just have to see it:

Go ahead and say it. You know you dig it.

Of course with the color-scheme it will appeal to Florida Gator-lovers the most, but then again Tebow has become pretty universal so they might find plenty of folks that may want to take a ride in this street legal machine.

I have not seen anything that states precisely what Tebow plans on doing with his new-old ride now. It will probably be used to help promote the Foundation for now, but will likely be auctioned off sometime in the future for a boat load of cash.

And all for a good cause too.
