Johnny Manziel Throws Out First Pitch; Wears Right Gear [UPDATED; VIDEO]

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel continued living the charmed like Sunday when he got the chance to throw the first pitch prior to the Rangers/Angels game. When talking about it he said was pretty nervous about throwing it out, but he got some great advice from a handful of guys in the Rangers dugout:

Just don't bounce it.

Well, he didn't bounce it; he didn't quite get it over the plate either! As a former high school baseball player (shortstop and second base I believe) there was really no doubt that he would have trouble making it from the mound to home plate.

Apparently Johnny was pretty good when he did play baseball. Prior to winning the starting job on the football team he was thinking abut talking to the Aggies baseball coaches. Then he won the starting gig, and well--things changed.

Lucky for us, eh football fans?

I do have just one thing to say about Johnny Manziel and his pitch:

I'm just glad he was wearing the right gear and didn't show up in an Angel's hat. Because, you know, he doesn't actually play the Angels so it is not a rivalry for him.

[Hee hee hee...]
