There is Nothing Beautiful about Liverpool's Luis Suarez and His Game

The way that fans behave at soccer games has me wondering why they think soccer is the 'beautiful game,' but the fact that players like Liverpool's Luis Suarez was just named to the shortlist for PFA Player of the Year and he takes a bite out of opponent in game--well, there is noting beautiful about that.

From Yahoo!
I totally understand that the ref can't call what he doesn't see, and I am glad that the league has a system established where they can review footage of plays like this and hand down a punishment after the fact. What gets me is that this guy has done it before!

This incident was back in 2010:

He did end up receiving a seven-game suspension for that incident. His physical bite isn't the only thing that he has had issues with. Last season he was suspended eight games for racially abusing Manchester United player Patrice Eva.

Com on man! Don't they have half-time oranges in this game?

This kind of game is not beautiful at all. I get that Suarez is the Premier league's leading scorer, and I appreciate that he apologized for the incident after the game, but the league needs to really throw the book at this guy. With a record like his I hope whatever penalty they give him is a stiff one.

On a lighter note--the most famous 'biter' in the United States that is not a vampire is now following Suarez. Yes, boxing fans. I am talking about Iron Mike Tyson.
