Chicago Blackhawks Have the Most Dedicated Fan in the World

The Chicago Blackhawks easily have the most dedicated fan in the world--Donna Lebano. During Game 5 of the Chicago/Minnesota game Thursday night she went into labor--and stayed until the game was over!
“No way was I leaving,” Lebano said. “We are a Hawks family. I had to see the end of the game.”

Her dedication is admirable, but we are talking about child birth! She started feeling contractions during the second period, but rather than head to the hospital she wanted to see the end. Heck, those tickets aren't cheap!

A few hours later she gave birth to little Owen Michael.

I can only assume that she must have taken some classes and practiced those breathing techniques they have you do. Either that or when she cheered she really let out a good scream or two.

To some moms this may not seem like such a big deal. Labor takes hours and if the contractions are far apart you know you have time. Had they been close you know she would have left.

However, when my wife was in the hospital with our first her epidural slipped out. When the next contraction hit she felt some serious  pain.

I don't know if Donna stayed and cheered through the pain, but the fact that she did stay and risk having a baby at a hockey game makes her the most dedicated fan of any sports team in my book .
