Brett Favre Admits he was at Fault in Break-up With Green Bay Packers

Breakups are always hard and the one that happened between the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Brett Favre was easily one of the worst. Like most breakups,  its the kids (or in this case the fans) that got the short end of the stick.

Is it okay to still love your favorite player or do you have to hate him now that he's playing for the 'other' team?

Fans may not have that issue much longer. There have been several signs that Mom and Dad might be getting back together. The most recent sign came from Favre when he admitted he was wrong with how he left the team.

Can I come home now?
In a recent interview with the the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Favre had this to say:
"It's over and done with. I was at fault."
Of course it would have been best if he had stopped there, but he didn't.
"...I feel that both sides had a part in it. If you could go back would I or them have done things differently? I'm sure both sides would. But you can't."
So he did take fault, but at the same time he threw a soft jab back at the team and said they were too. I'm nt sure exactly how they were; they didn't force him to talk about retiring for years and make them wait till the last minute possible to decided not to.

You know, its not like the team needed to plan ahead for whether or not he was going to be on the team or anything...

Whatever...like Brett said, it's water under the bridge now.

Hopefully after this step the Packers will be able to bring home one of their favorite sons for good.
