MLB Commissioner Bud Selig had a little trouble telling time during the first round of the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft Thursday night. No, he didn't call PM AM or get his time zones confused. He got the year wrong, and not just by a little bit either.
Bud didn't party like it was 1999, but he was close.
No Bud, it isn't 2000 anymore; not for a long time.
Had it just happened once I bet people would have laughed it off and already forgotten about it, but since it happened not once, not twice, not three times, but four times--well, that's just too rich to ignore.
It's not like he did it all at the beginning and no one told him he goofed up; maybe no one did tell him and that's why it kept happening. He did it first with the No. 1 pick, but then waited till the No. 6 and No. 8 to do it again.
Right when you thought he was done he did it once more with the No. 19 pick.
Okay Vegas so what is the over/under going to be for Day 2 of the draft? 2? 3?
