The Indianapolis Colts did what every fan likes to see this off-season. Owner Jim Irsay dished out a ton of money to sign the best free agents they could in order to fill as many needs as possible (and than drafted to fill others).

Fans like to see that. They want to believe that their team is trying to do what it takes to start winning or get to the next level. Funny thing is it hardly ever works.
Recent history has shown us that when teams have spent a cumulative amount higher than $100 million in free agency it almost never results in a significant change in wins....
