B-Ball On The Brain! - San Antonio Silver Stars Looking to Get Back in the Playoff Chase

If you were to just look at the standings in the WNBA's Western Conference you might think that a team like the San Antonio Silver Stars who have an 8-14 record have no chance to make the post season with right around a dozen games left. However, much like the NBA, the WNBA season could be dubbed the "second season" within the season.

Almost everyone makes it.

Of the league's 12 teams (six in each conference) eight of them make the playoffs (four from each). So in the West the Silver Stars are not in it yet, but with a strong 77-56 win over the Seattle Storm Friday night--the first for San Antonio in Seattle since 2010-- San Antonio is only a game and a half out....
