FOX Sports 1 Graphic on Notre Dame is Just a Little Off

After months of anticipation FOX Sports 1 finally made its debut over the weekend. For those that tire of the coverage that ESPN provides it is a breath of fresh air. ESPN has been able to go too long without serious competition and have gotten sloppy of late. FOX Sports 1 will not only give fans an alternative, but hopefully give ESPN a kick in the pants too.

However, as luck (and not the luck of the Irish) would have it, just because you have months to prepare it doesn't mean you are not going to have some of the same problems as the other guy.

Apparently one of the interns working at FOX Sports 1 is not much of a sports fan, was drunk when prepping an infographic on Notre Dame, or just plain sloppy and careless.

According to what was the Fighting Irish not only lost their head coach, but also wide receiver Michael Floyd (2012 first round pick by the Arizona Cardinals) and safety Harrison Smith (also a 2012 first round pick and a proud member of the Minnesota Vikings).

I know--mistakes happen, but if they are going to become serious competition for ESPN they need to really minimize these kinds of things. Fickle fans will only be too happy to bash them for being just as sloppy as ESPN and move on.

And lets be real here folks--we need another option to ESPN.
