Johnny Manziel Under Investigation by the NCAA

What’s it been? A week since we’ve had a Johnny Manziel story? It appears that the wait for another chapter is finally over.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel must be absolutely dying for the 2013 season to finally start. After an off-season where he was constantly bombarded by the media and fans and had any and every perceived flaw pointed out on social media sites the chance to just play football again must be like a dream for him.

The only problem is it might not come.

With all the high-profile trips and court-side basketball seats over the last six months there have been plenty of questions about Manziel and how he pays for his extravagant lifestyle as a college student. The easy answer has been Mom and Dad; apparently the Manziel family does pretty well for itself.

However, new accusations claim that Johnny Football may have made some money on his own by took a five-figure payment to sign autographs, a clear violation of NCAA rules.

According to sources for ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” when Manziel flew to Florida for the BCS Championship game in January he signed a whole bunch of photographs, footballs, mini football helmets and other items for Drew Tieman, an autograph broker....
