Ryan Tannehill Leads the Dolphins to Upset Win Over the Atlanta Falcons

His rookie season wasn't a thing of beauty, but there were signs of potential greatness to come in former Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The general thought in Miami was that with the right weapons they might be in a position to do the unthinkable--take down the New England Patriots and win the AFC East.

They will have to wait till October 27 to see if they can do that, but taking down the Atlanta Falcons is not a bad warm-up!

Miami never led in this one up until the very end, but between the efficient play of the offense and a solid day by the defense Matty Ice and the Falcons were never able to put the pesky Dolphins away.

That ended up costing them in the end after Tannehill led the Dophins offense on a 13-play, 75 yard drive that ate up all but 38 ticks on the game clock.

Should fans of the 'Fins be happy? Absolutely! But within reason. Tannehill did have a pair of turnovers and was sacked five times. Mike Wallace has yet to become a serious part of the offense and the no one really stands out in the running game.

But the 'Fins are undefeated so whatever they are doing is working--for now.
