NFL Hits Ndamukong Suh With Absurd $31,500 Fine for Hitting Brandon Weeden

The NFL has passed the point of ridiculousness this time. Wednesday the league office handed down another fine for Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh. This time it was $31,500 for this hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden.

Suh has a reputation for dirty hits, but on this occasion it looks like its the league that is doing the dirty deed. He was not flagged on the play, but the league said he led with his head and made contact with the body.

Either the person that reviewed the play was drinking when he did so or the league has it out for Suh. It is pretty easy to see that Suh did not lead with his head at all and that the blow that knocked Weeden over came from Suh's hands and arms hitting him in the chest.

Hopefully Suh appeals this one, and if there is any fairness in the league still it will be reversed
