Reggie Wayne Injured in Win Over Denver Broncos

Next to losing Andrew Luck the worst thing that could happen to the Indianapolis Colts happened late in the game Sunday night--veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne went down with a knee injury

It did not take long from the time the injury occured for the team to announce that he was done for the night with a knee sprain The sideline reporter described a very upset Wayne being consoled on the sideline and with tears on his face as he was led into the locker room.

There are few competitors in the NFL like Reggie Wayne and the team can only hope that the injury is not too serious. The Colts are off next week so he will have sometime to recover before the team plays again in Week 9 (against Houston).
