With a trip to the World Series on the line tonight for the Boston Red Sox it is completely understanable if guys want to be a little expressive when something happens. A win for Boston means a return to the World Series just one year after stinking up the league. For Detroit a loss means they are going home; close, but no cigar.
So when Shane Victorino hits a grand slam home run in the 7th to put the Red Sox up 5-2 it's easy to see why he's thumping his chest while rounding the bases.
At the same time it is understandable if guys like Torii Hunter are a little saddened:
