Alabama Lays the Smack Down on a Poor Mississippi State Player

For a time it looked as if Mississippi state was going to make a game out of it against Alabama; not something you would expect from one of the lesser teams in the SEC when it plays the two-time defending national champions.

However, in the end it was another win for the Crimson Tide, but since the score board was not going to reflect dominance the team had to display it on the field in hits like this:

A.J. McCarron had a pair of interception and only 187 yards passing, but the defense played lights out ball and T.J Yelson had a 160 yards on the day to lead the way to a 20-7 victory.

The team could probably play like it did Saturday and still beat Chattanooga next week, but with the way Auburn looks the 'Tide will have to get back on track and bring their 'A+' game for the Iron Bowl.
