Duke's Win Over Miami Puts Them on Track for a Bid to the ACC Title Game

Typically when you talk about the Duke Blue Devils and conference championships basketball is involved, but not this time. With a big win over the Miami Hurricanes Saturday it looks like they could be headed to the conference championship game--but for football!

From Bleacher Report
After not being real competitive the last couple of weeks the Hurricanes had to be happy they were for a change. Behind 28-20 early in the second half, Miami roared back with 10 points to take a 30-28 lead. The Blue Devils were able to kick a field goal to retake the lead before the final quarter.

When compared to the 11-point deficit they faced against the Hokies last week going in to the final quarter and 21-points the week before against Florida State a single point was a nice change.

But than the offense faltered and the defense could stop the Blue Devils as Duke scored 17 unanswered points to turn what was a close game in to a blow out.

The win puts Duke on top of their division and in the driver's seat to make the ACC Conference Championship against Florida State. A win against a poor Wake Forest team next week or Miami losing to Virginia will put them in.
