Texas A&M Shooting for Historic Win Against Mississippi State

When Texas A&M takes the field against Mississippi State at 3:30 PM ET Saturday there will be more on the line than simply winning the game.



With the way college football is every win counts. A team with championship aspirations can’t afford to lose and remain in control of its fate. Since the Aggies do have a pair of losses this season they would need a ton of help to actually make it, but there is more on the line than keeping that window open.

“This is a historic moment for our players and fans,” Sumlin said of the Aggies' Saturday showdown with Mississippi State in their final home game of the season. “After Saturday, Kyle Field will look completely different — forever.”

The stadium will undergo renovations over the next couple of years that will eventually turn it into the largest capacity in the SEC. However, while the stadium improvements do add to Kyle Fields history there is so much more going on....
