Winnipeg Player Loses Helmet and Gets a Beer Shower in Chicago

When you are a professional athlete it is not unusual for opponents and their fans to want to show you some 'love' in their own special way. How they do it--well, that is something that is unique to every team and especially the fan base.

Wednesday night in Chicago Jets defenseman Adam Pardy got to feel the love Windy City style, not once, not twice, but three times!

The first came in typical hockey fashion when Blackhawks forward Brandon Bollig checked him into the glass. Actually, it was more through the glass--and that is where the problems started.

Someone in the crowd thought it would be a good idea to steal his helmet. Like any good thief he donned it and raised his hand with pride for all to see (especially the authorities)--but it didn't stop there.

One fan decided it was a good idea to throw her beer on him.

It's a classless move for sure and hopefully she got busted along with the idiot wearing the helmet. Be fans people--not criminals.
