Head Coach is Not the Only Position Houston Should be Concerned With

Now that the regular season is over the Houston Texans can finally concentrate on the task at hand—picking the future leader of the team.

It’s done. It’s finally over. The one season that the Houston Texans can’t wait to forget is finally in the past. Now the team can focus on what needs to be done first and foremost. They need to figure out who the head coach is going to be.

If you listen to the media and bloggers it sounds as if the team has focused on their man—Penn State Head Coach Bill O’Brien—but those very same bloggers say he has told recruits that he is not going anywhere. He could be lying of course, but this is coming from a man that did not leave Penn State for the NFL following the 2012 season because of the message he thought it would send since he’d only been there a season.

That still doesn’t mean he will not take the job if offered. Why else would he be trying to get his buyout reduced?....
