Jadeveon Clowney--Future NFL Accident Waiting to Happen or Just Unlucky?

South Carolina defensive end and future first round draft pick Jadeveon Clowny is back in the news again, and not for something good. It's because he apparently did not learn anything from the speeding ticket he got roughly a month ago and got another one.

Now he stands to lose his license.

From Bleacher Report
The reality of the situation is pretty simple. He got busted speeding twice; that's it. The first time was pretty bad (110 in a 70). This time it was 84 in a 55. While it sounds crazy, there is likely going to be at least one or two GM's that are going to question whether Clowney might be an accident waiting to happen.

Not a physical accident, but a player that is going to get in even more trouble when he has the means via his first game check and/or signing bonus.

Sounds wild, right? I'd like to think it wouldn't happen, but if you ask Dez Bryant he'll probably tell you it will (in Miami at least).

Whoever does over analyze this incident will likely just say they are doing their due diligence. After all, they are about to invest millions in him. You would think they would have better things to do with their time.

With the speed limits being what they were both incidents were likely on the freeway. Who among us has not sped on the freeway before? While not everyone gets pulled over for it we all do it. After getting a ticket did it stop us? No!

Shoot--while making a cross country trip I got two in a four-hour span! Darn small towns...

This should be nothing, but in today's NFL you can never tell. As long as he doesn't do anything else prior to the combine we probably will never hear of this again after South Carolina's bowl game.
