James Harden Makes History in Win Over Memphis

James Harden has been a valuable acquisition for the Houston Rockets ever since they traded for him prior to the start of last season. His value was apparent Thursday night in a 100-92 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. In fact, you could even say it was just a wee bit historic.

How? The man scored 27 points on 2 of 9 shooting.



The other 22 points (he made one three-pointer) came from the free throw line where he was 22-25 on the night. According to a tweet that the team's play-by-play man sent out this had never been done before:


So there you have it opposing teams. Yet another reason to Fear the Beard.
