Redskins HC Mike Shanahan: I'm Trying To Be As Honest As I Can, I Don't Normally Do That!

It hasn't been a good season for Mike Shanahan and the Washington Redskins. Last season the future looked pretty darn bright.. This season everyone is just waiting for the ax to fall. After the dreadful performance that nearly cleaned out the stadium by halftime last Sunday I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

With many in the press acting like the ax has already fallen it would be understandable if the pressure were to build on Shanahan. After his press conference Wednesday it certainly looks like it's getting to him.

Shanahan has been getting blasted left and right of late, and after announcing that he was benching Robert Griffin III for the remainder of the season he had to expect to get blasted some more. So that had him on edge a bit and it showed in his responses to questions like this one:



There were so many more, but they have yet to find their way to the World Wide Web yet (once they do I'll post them here). From what I've been able to find he didn't hold back when talking about the owner or anyone else for that matter.
