The South Carolina Gamecocks topped an 11-win season with a great game in the Capitol One Bowl Wedneday beating the Wisconsin Badgers 34-24. Throughout the game there were a number of big plays on both sides of the ball, but some of the most impressive ones--at least to me--where some of the receptions these guys made in spite of good coverage, lack of balance, or if the ball was bouncing off of people.
Take this one as an example. I believe it is Bruce Ellington here raising eyebrows with this grab.

Gamecock Nation will be hoping Shaq Roland does a lot more of this for South Carolina next season.

I'm sure Ellington said excuse me on the tail end of this catch before running over the cameraman. Hopefully the dude hit rapid shutter as he saw him coming; those will be some cool pics.

It took more than just a handful of receptions to bring home the win of course. Congratulations to the South Carolina Gamecocks on winning the Capitol One Bowl and on a great season. We'll look forward to seeing what you guys have for us next season!
