Michigan May Have a New Name for its Head Coach Soon

Anti-Brady Hoke fans may look at the title and think 'Heck yeah!' but are going to end up being disappointed. The school is not getting a new head coach, but a new name for the position of head coach.

Yeah, we fell you Brady.

When the Board of Regents meets on February 20 one of the items on the agenda is going to be approving the new name for the head coach of the football team--The J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach.

Yes, sports fans, it's real.

Apparently through their foundation the Harris family has been a big donor to the athletic department; the locker room is already named after them. Thanks to a $10 million donation the head coach will soon be named after them too.

Before you think there is no way that the Board will approve of something so ridiculous it has before. Dave Brandon is not actually the athletics director--he is the Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics.
