Sammy Watkins is expected to be a top 10 pick in the draft after an excellent career at Clemson. After catching 101 balls for 1464 yards (No. 5 in the nation) it is not hard to see why. The only think that could keep him from going in the top 10 would be if he showed up at the Combine incredibly out of shape and did terrible in all thee drills.
Well--that didn't happen.

Watkins was one of the top performers in the 40-yard dash with a 4.43 best, bench press (16 reps), and the broad jump (10'6").
So yes coaches--he's fast enough to pull away from defenders, can jump for the end zone--and a ball--if necessary, and is strong enough not to let defenders out position him for a ball--just
like fans have seen him do time and time again for Clemson.
