WATCH: Fight Breaks Out After New Mexico State's Ross Miller Throws Ball at Utah Valley's Holton Hunsaker

New Mexico State and Utah Valley are not accustomed to making news. From the little known Western Athletic Conference only one of them will make the NCAA Tournament as the conference winner and will be a low seed at that. The two are fighting it out for conference supremacy, but Thursday night the fighting was a little more literal.

From what the internet is saying about the game it sounds like it was a pretty good one. The two teams are the best the WAC has to offer and the conference title will come down to them. So when Utah Valley ended up wining in OT 66-61it isn't had to see why New Mexico State's Ross Miller was upset.

Being upset does not make it okay to throw the ball at your opponent though. You know--because stuff like that tends to cause fights.

On a good note, it doesn't appear as if any Utah Valley players were involved. It was just their fans that stormed on to the court.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the NCAA responds to this. No other sport gives fans such easy access to the playing field as basketball does, and coming on the heals of the Marcus Smart incident you have to wonder if it is time to ban fans from coming on to the court all together.
