WATCH: Nittany Lions Upset Ohio State for Second Time This Season and the Crowd Goes Wild

Penn State is not going to The Dance this season. In fact, they have only made it in to the March Madness twice this millennium. Ohio State on the other hand will be dancing come March and is a regular in the annual tournament.

So when the Nittany Lions beat the Buckeyes 65-63 Thursday night (for the season sweep) you could say that there was just cause for celebration.



This is what college athletics is all about. Yeah, the titles and championships are fantastic of course and what everyone wants. If there is anyplace where the concept of 'any team on any given day' means something it is the college ranks.

Penn State certainly proved it Thursday night.
