The Houston Texans have a big question mark at quarterback going in to next season; one that the signing of Ryan Fitzpatrick does not exactly answer.

Quarterback is a huge concern for the Houston Texans. Matt Schaub fell off the wagon last season and has now been traded to the Oakland Raiders for a sixth round pick (one last pick-6). Case Keenum looked good at times, but rarely for a full game. Much of the scuttlebutt has the team taking a quarterback with the first pick of the draft, but maybe now that they have Ryan Fitzpatrick that is not necessary.
Or is it?
Signing the former Harvard star and seventh round pick has raised some eyebrows. At 31 he is definitely not a long term solution, but there is nothing in his history that says he’s a good short term one either.
So why did the team sign him?....
