In light of Friday night's embarrassing loss to the San Antonio Spurs a question has to be asked--when are the Lakers going to fire Mike D'Antonio?

Poor defense seems to be the norm of late too. Of the seven games played in March so far the Lakers have allowed more than 130 points in four of them. The lowest total they gave up was 106 in a rare win over Portland to start the month.
Heck, to find a game that they didn't give up 100 points you have to go back to February 21 when they held the Celtics to 92 (and scored 102 themselves for the win).
A couple bad weeks is not enough cause to fire a coach. D'Antoni has struggled with the team from the start of his tenure last season till now. To barely make the post season last year has to be a red flag, but to fall apart this season without Kobe says a lot. The roster needs improving, but it is not as bad as it plays, and that is on the coach.
Tack on him having already lost the team (as is evident with the way Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol have spoken out against D'Antoni) and you have to wonder why they are keeping him around. Why not give the fans something to cheer about before the season is over?
