Mike D'Antoni Has Resigned as Los Angeles Lakers Head Coach

It's a good day for fans of the Los Angeles Lakers. No, Kobe Bryant has not found the Fountain of Youth (although that would be nice), but it is the next best thing. Mike D'Antoni will not be coaching the Lakers next year.

The man has resigned.

The move is not a shocking one. What has been is the rumor that the team might be seriously considering bringing him back, but it looks like that will not be the case.
