Did This Texas High School Wide Receiver Really Throw a Bomb to Himself? [VIDEO]

Gary Haynes is a speedy wide receiver out of Manvel High in Texas. His talent has already made a name for himself in the Lone Star State, but not a real big one--yet. While any scholarship offer is nothing to shake a stick at he wants more options than his only offer (Houston).

So what does he do? He does what anyone does that wants to generate publicity--release a video that will go viral.

So he did; a nice clip of him throwing a bomb and than catching it himself.

This could end up being a good thing for him--as long as it's legitimate. Assuming it's real coaches will look at it and think maybe they should give this fast, athletic kid a look. Should it ever come out that it is a fake he'll affectively lose the respect of coaches that don't have time for games and trickery.

So for your sake Gary--I hope it's real.
