Floyd Mayweather Shows No Respect for the Sport With Ridiculous Ring Entrance [GIF]

In the end Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana put on one heck of a show in the ring for fans. For only the second time in his career he won by a majority decision--meaning someone didn't think he deserved to win (one card scored the fight even at 114-114). The product was good.

So why does he have to mar it with a ridiculous circus (literally) of an entrance?

The general response on Twitter was pretty much 'WTF?' when the circus led Mayweather to the ring. What the heck is he thinking? I get that the entrance is a part of the spectacle, but this--this is just garish and beyond over the top.

None of the truly great fighters in the long history of the sport would ever be a part of such a mockery.
