According to @AndreasHale there was some fighting and maybe even some gunfire in the casino area after the fight. You know--because after a 12 round main and a pretty good undercard they hadn't had their fill of violence yet:
A brawl just broke out everyone is running

wow they just broke down the barrier in the press room. All hell has broken loose

The cops are fighting with people. This is ugly
— Andreas Hale (@AndreasHale) May 4, 2014
word is that there was gunfire in the casino

People are panicking. I think I'm safe in the press room but I haven't seen anything like this in years after a fight.

Seems like everything has calmed down outside. But that was ugly. People in the press room were legit scared
— Andreas Hale (@AndreasHale) May 4, 2014
A lot of people that ran into the press room for safety are now getting ushered out by police.

Eventually things calmed down and the post-fight presser went off without a hitch. Mayweather asked Maidana not to hit him in the 'change purse' anymore. Maidana said he felt like he won. They talked about doing it again in September--and that was about that.
So was all the after fight action legit or just hearsay? As far as Mr. Hale could discover it was for real:
I've had three different sources tell me that there was gunfire in the casino. Another fight broke out near the food court with Maidana fans

I suppose we'll find out for sure when the write up appears in the newspaper.
