Local Bar Hosted Riley Cooper at Their Draft Party Thursday Night

Riley Cooper created a bit of a mess when he got drunk at a concert last off-season and said a few words he really shouldn't have. Fans called for his head, he had to leave the team for awhile, and no matter how much guys like Michael Vick spoke publicly in support of Cooper plenty of people still wanted nothing to do with him.

This off-season he was the guest of honor for a local bar's draft party Thursday night.

From 7-8 PM Thursday night Cooper was at Nineteen 19 signing autographs for $40 a pop, but before you could shell out the money to get him to sign something you had to buy a ticket first. Just in case you needed it memorabilia was available for purchase as well.

I'm all for forgiving a man after he makes a stupid mistake. Cooper definitely won some fans over last season after his racial comments by becoming a great target for Nick Foles, but many fans were not willing to forgive and forget so easily.

Especially after the team let Desean Jackson and Jason Avant go.

Apparently folks in Haverton, PA, are cool with him and gotten over last summer's mess; otherwise it is hard to imagine why a bar would feature Cooper at their draft party.

Than again--there was a buffet and  open bar for domestic beers. I could easily eat enough wings and drink enough Bud Lights to cover the cost of entry.
