Brandon Marshall Challenges Roddy White to Friendly Bet on Twitter

Players in the NFL have to be confident in their abilities.  If they believe they are the best they might not be--but they will at least be pretty darn good. So when Chicago Bears wide receiver proclaimed he and Brandon Marshall were the best receiving duo in the league he could very well be right. When Julio Jones said the same about him and Roddy White he could also be right.

Of course only one duo can be the best, and Marshall has challenged White to prove which duo is.

Oh--and to make it a little more interesting Marshall has proposed they put a friendly wager on it:

Marshall is referring to White's March Madness social media fiasco when he appeared to make a bet with someone on Twitter over the  Duke/Mercer game (he took Duke)--which Mercer won. White initially refused to pay up saying no actual bet was ever made, but eventually he broke under all the bad press and paid up.

Marshall did say a 'friendly' bet so it could be anything from signed gear the other can auction off for charity, something ridiculous and goofy, or maybe just a simple donation to charity. White has yet to respond.

It should be a great competition if they do. Last season Marshall and Jeffrey combined for 2716 yards and 19 touchdowns; Jones and White had 2549 yards and 17 touchdowns--but were hampered by injuries all season.
