Fire Fighter at MLS Game Struck by Lightning and Pronounced Dead Lives!

The MLS season was put on hold for two weeks for the World Cup. So come Saturday night Columbus Crew fans were going to get a chance to see their team back in action with a game against FC Dallas.

That is until a fan was struck by lightning.

The game was cancelled, but that was not the biggest problem by far. The poor guy struck by lightning was initially pronounced dead.

From a reliable source: the first EMT on the scene found the man "completely unresponsive."

The key word though is 'initially.'

As it turns out the fan struck by lightning was an off-duty fire fighter:
