Former Cowboys Linebacker Robert Jones Latest Victim of False Accusations

The legal system could become a lot more efficient if there was a way for courts and police officers to be able to sort the BS that is intended just to mess with someone--like the stupid lawsuits recently filed against Johnny Manziel and Mark Cuban--from matters that actually need their attention.

That way police wouldn't be wasting time investigating charges that former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Robert Jones tried to hire a hit man to kill his agent.

The source of this mess is TMZ so as usual with anything that comes from them--take it with a grain of salt (thanks for making TMZ appear to know what they are talking about Donald Sterling).

Anyway...here's the tale in a nut shell:

A 47-year old man named Theodore has claimed that Jones approached him about killing his agent. He says he refused and that Jones threatened to do him harm if he didn't. So fearing for his life he did what anyone would do and went to the cops.

Jones says the whole mess is complete BS. This 'Theodore' is a distant relative that is angry with him, and he has no problem with his agent.
