(3) He's a drunk rich kid just having a good time that needs a better entourage.
When you are young, wealthy, and the life of the party you are going to do just that--party. Haters and fans alike will admit (if they are being honest) that they would to if they were in his shoes. Yeah, he has a job to do with the Browns, but he does it.
There is no reason why he shouldn't party when it's his time--as long as he doesn't do anything dangerous like ride a motorcycle or pile drive his buddies on the dance floor (like some other guys we know...).
However, as polarizing a figure as he has become there are going to be those that will hate on him no matter what and the last thing he needs to do is give them fuel. Actually--who cares about the hecklers? The last thing he needs to do is damage the 'brand' in the eyes of potential endorsement deals.
Some companies don't care how much you party, but when you start to look arrogant it makes the company look bad. Do it enough and the company gets tired of you and says good-bye.
That's where his entourage should come in. Turtle, E, Johnny Drama--they bent over backwards to make sure that anything negative about Vince was squashed. Manziel's entourage doesn't do that.
Instead they do stuff like record him acting a fool in a strip club and post it on Instagram (NSFW due to language):
Maybe they aren't. I don't know, but the point is this--this video shot by one of his boys (I'm assuming that too, but who else would have been as close?) never should have seen the light of day.
In college stupid stuff like this was no big deal, but now it is going to cost him money. As long as he plays well it will not hamper his NFL salary, but as for endorsements he can forget about it.
