What makes it even better sometimes is when the coaches decide to get involved--like Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll did during a town hall meeting with fans Wednesday.

Carroll has had meetings like this in the past. They are a great way to connect with fans and just talk football with them; a real win-win for the team and the people that love it.
He talked about all sorts of things involving the team, but eventually someone asked Carroll about the rivalry that has developed between the Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers.
His answer was a typical one at first; full of complimentary jargon to the 49ers, but eventually he gave fans exactly what they wanted when he said 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh is “a great coach and we love beating him.”
Awesome.
I look forward to sharing the sound bite with you guys as soon as Harbaugh responds (because he will and it too will be awesome).
