Nuts, right? Or are they thinking about keeping Beast Mode healthier during the season?
The talk was backed up by the work that former Texas A&M running back Christine Michael had been doing during OTAs. Yes, it's only practice--and an unpadded one at that--but the moves he put on defenders in this clip are hard to deny:
But it is only practice, and it appears that the team either came to its senses or was misunderstood:

Michael is a good back, and has the potential to be a real valuable player in the NFL someday. However, before there can be any legitimate talk of him taking carries away from Lynch there has to be more of reason to do so.
Yes, he flashed some real potential during the preseason last year, but than only had 18 carries for 79 yards during the regular season.
His time will come--just not yet.
