So How Long Till the Houston Astros Trade George Springer for Prospects?

Astros outfielder George Springer is having a good rookie campaign so far which has to be making some fans wonder when he is going to be traded.

Being a fan of the Houston Astros has been tough the last few years. For the last three seasons the team has redefined what losing is by dropping at least 100 games each season. If that wasn’t bad enough, fans have been forced to watch what talent was on the roster be traded away—usually just for prospects.

The talent culling culminated in a roster last season that made less than what a number of players on other teams made—roughly $22.5 million. So with George Springer improving on defense and hitting more home runs than every other rookie with the exception of Jose Abreu the team must be looking to ditch him for prospects—or maybe the front office is finally looking to turn a corner....
